Feng Shui is getting popular in the US! In Japan, it became really popular thanks to a man named Dr. Copa. He became popular and famous through many TV programs and interviews. The Feng Shui that he teaches is quite easy :

1) CLEAN YOUR HOUSE, so that your house will have good "Qi" flow.

I try to clean my house nice and tidy. That's easy to say, but hard to practice. I do that not only for Feng Shui, but for practical and economical reasons. Imagine you have a bunch of the same stuff and you keep buying the same stuff, that's a waste of your money. Knowing what's in your house will save your time too.

2) Your storage represents your ancestors. Is your garage filled with crap?

On the weekend, when I glance at somebody's garage, let's say at least half of the garages I see, they don't even have any space for the car!!! It's nothing but a storage place for junk. In Feng Shui, storage is considered to be how you treat your ancestors. Of course, you have some precious antiques in your garage, but if so, use it in your living room decoration, not as a place to pile more junk on. I don't understand how some people pay a private storage company to store stuff they haven't used in years!! America is full of pack-rats, lets toss the junk and get clean.

3) Do a yard sale or donate to a charity!
